My name is Paul Becque. When I first dated my wife, she called me Beqster, and the name has stuck! Now my friends and work colleagues use it too.
Since I was a child I wanted to know what life is all about. Consequently, I’ve studied many different beliefs and kept an open mind.
Buddhism and Taoism have been very inspirational for me. And, more recently, “The Secret” and our growing knowledge of quantum physics has taken me to an even deeper level of commitment to my discoveries. “Baloani” is simply a video diary of my journey and a reference point for anyone that resonates with my exploration.
For more than 30 years I’ve heard people talking about the power of “Positive Thinking” and how important it is to have a “Positive Mental Attitude”. More recently, the video “The Secret” teaches about the “Law of Attraction” and suggests that it’s been known about for centuries, but kept a secret from the masses... take a look right now!

Well, I believe in it. I believe in the hope that it brings, the possibility of improving our lives, living our dreams, finding ourselves and developing the spiritual connection we have with the world we live in.
Through Baloani®, I plan to set out a dream life, then record my growth from January 2010, document the changes, improvements and benefits that come along, and illustrate to others, like yourself, how the “Law of Attraction” really can work.
2) To Focus by sharing. By starting this site, I’m accepting the responsibility and obligation, of applying the daily principles and tools necessary to bring into manifestation, the life of my dreams. We all know how easy it is to start a project with good intentions and watch them dissipate as time progresses... Just like new year resolutions! I’ve often experimented in meditation, yoga, affirmations and visualising, but never made it a daily routine, an integral part of my life. But this year, 2010, I will take my convictions to a new level and consequently, prove that the “Law of Attraction” can really work.
3) To build a resource centre, a Network Identifier for others like myself, and my two young children. For more than twenty years I’ve been reading books on philosophy and self improvement in an effort to work out what life’s all about and how I can make mine the best it can possibly be. In that time I’ve bought a huge number of books, CD’s videos, DVD’s and subscribed to a number of web sites. Unfortunately, they weren’t all good and sometimes I even felt ripped off. Consequently, I want to provide a list of teachers and resources which I believe are genuine, helpful and will assist you with your journey of personal development. We all learn differently, so you may connect to some materials more successfully than others. Feel free to email me for further guidance.
4) To create a Social Network of friends and like-
It was always my plan to use Facebook as the social network tool, however, I have
been overwhelmed by the success that I’ve enjoyed in such a short time. Add “Beqster

I have created the “Baloani®” project (pronounced “baloney”) for four major reasons.
1) To Share my journey and progress with the “Law of Attraction”. I’ve enjoyed a pretty colourful and eventful life, and I believe that this modicum of success and my ability to get through the darker times, is connected to my ability to remain positive and see a better future for myself. But I’ve never really focused enough to make my biggest dreams come true.
