My name is Paul Becque. When I first dated my wife, she called me Beqster, and the name has stuck! Now my friends and work colleagues use it too.

Since I was a child I wanted to know what life is all about. Consequently, I’ve studied many different beliefs and kept an open mind.

Buddhism and Taoism have been very inspirational for me. And, more recently, “The Secret” and our growing knowledge of quantum physics has taken me to an even deeper level of commitment to my discoveries. “Baloani” is simply a video diary of my journey and a reference point for anyone that resonates with my exploration.

Hi Paul. I’m not sure I know what life is all about. For me its about spending time with the people I love, doing the job I love and trying to be a good person and friend. I have had some real difficulties over the last few years and have some how managed to get through, usually with a lot of pain and heartache.

I’m not a particularly religious person although I do believe in a higher being. I do believe in spirits, but as a professional, was taught science (I am a nurse), I feel there must be a rationale and proof behind things.

However, I would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction. My life has finally started to turn around, and I want to do everything I can to ensure I stay on the chosen path for me and that I grab those opportunities given to me along the way and enhance and embrace the road I have chosen.

This seems like a really interesting thing your doing I shall be watching. Hope its going well so far I realize that I have come in quite late to your journey but I am sure I shall catch up.

If you haven’t yet seen the dvd “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne, I highly recommend that you get your hands on a copy... buy it, borrow it, get a copy from the library, but watch it and be open to the ideas suggested in it. It does NOT matter what your background is, what your philosophical thoughts are, whether you are religious or not, the film can work for you, because this is all about a “law”... just like gravity. If you enjoy the dvd, then buy the book. Watch it and read it, time and time and time again. Get it deep into your psyche.

Like it or not, you are using the “Law of Attraction”. But once you become “conscious” of that fact, you can use it to your advantage. For example, because you understand the law of gravity, you KNOW that if you fall out of a plane, off of a building or out of a tree, you’ll fall until you hit the ground. You know that flapping your arms like a bird ain’t gonna cut it, you won’t fly. It’s a law, it’s proven and so we all use that information to our advantage.

So how can I prove that the “Law of Attraction” works?

Well, in his book “The Success Principles”, How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be, Jack Canfield suggests that “if people would use the principles (he) was teaching, they could double their income and double their time off in less than two years”. Perfect!

First of all, I’d love to double my income and my time off. Second, if I can succeed at that, we’ll have something tangible to see how my success is (or is not) and third, I’ll have 64 established principles that can guide me toward my goal, which we can examine, discuss and apply. So let’s get going, principle one... take 100% responsibility for your life...

Baloani Assay Intro - 23 January, 2010

My first assay (examination / analysis). How exciting! I had planned to have this written by the first week of January, but building the web site has taken me longer than I expected. But hey, I’m up and running now, so lets get down to the nitty-gritty... attracting things into my life, improving my environment, and proving that this theory is actually a “law” a piece of knowledge that has been around for centuries and kept a secret from the vast majority of people, like you and I.

Well, proving that the “Law of Attraction” works is easier said than done. As I informed you in my intro, I’m no teacher, no guru or master of this “law” and although I believe that I have been using this force in my own life for a number of years, I wasn’t conscious of it. So how am I going to prove it works?

It would be easy for me to tell you I was going to attract a new car, a new house and become rich, but I want it to be a process that I can document and you can follow via this site and consequently KNOW that the “Law of Attraction” really works.
