Thank you for visiting Baloani, which I hope will prove to be a great point of reference for your personal philosophical

and spiritual journey.

My name is Paul Becque. When I first dated my wife, she called me Beqster, and the name has stuck! Now my friends and work colleagues use it too.

Since I was a child I wanted to know what life is all about. Consequently, I’ve studied many different beliefs and kept an open mind.

Buddhism and Taoism have been very inspirational for me. And, more recently, “The Secret” and our growing knowledge of quantum physics has taken me to an even deeper level of commitment to my discoveries. “Baloani” is simply a video diary of my journey and a reference point for anyone that resonates with my exploration.

Blog week 17   -   2 June, 2010

If you read last weeks blog (week 16), you’ll know that I started taking baby steps towards my dream life, and I focused on the car. I ended up buying a Cadillac, got scared as I moved out of my comfort zone and handed the keys back to the dealer.

Well this week, I couldn’t get that car out of my head. I meditated on what to do, I considered all the options and I came to the conclusion that I’m simply moving out of my old way of thinking into a new, better way. A paradigm of abundance has enveloped me and I clearly have to have the car of my dreams. The Cadillac CTS... not it’s smaller sister, the BLS, which would be a compromise, a stepping stone if you like, towards my dream wheels. So I took a deep breath, enjoyed a cooling off period, and never cooled off. So I bought the Cadillac CTS that I wanted.

Having considered my situation for a further week, I constantly wonder why I had so much indecision. Why was it so difficult for me to decide what to do? And I really do believe that I’m changing. My brain is starting to function in a different way, I’m setting up a different pattern of thoughts in my mind and by constantly studying this stuff, listening to the mp3’s in my car, the meditation cd’s in bed, working through the Hour of Power, reading the books, and writing this blog... I’m changing. I’m shifting paradigm... just writing those words and meaning every bit of it sends a chill of excitement through my body.

OMG. It’s working!

I started “Baloani®” 17 weeks ago to find out if the “Law of Attraction” and the suggestions made in The Secret and ideas shared by the “teachers” within in, was baloney?

I have no choice but to tell you it’s working!!!

Week 11 - take two
Week 11 - take one

So progress IS being made. What next?

The next chapter of Jack Canfield’s book The Success Principles talks about leaning into your life plan, gently edging into your dream life. It doesn’t have to be life changing, but it must be in the direction of your dreams, goals, passion. Just get going... get exploring!

If this is all new to you, buy a copy of “The Secret” on dvd... now! Watch it time and time again... if you resonate with it, find that you could fit these ideas into your current life and perhaps have them running parallel to your spiritual beliefs, then get going! Try it out. See what works for you. Are you looking for change? How badly? Then give it a go. Get a second-hand copy of the movie if you have to, but start! ... get exploring!

If you’re already into it, understand it, got excited by it, but haven’t done anything yet... make your vision board, or buy Jack Canfield’s book The Success Principles and start to follow the instructions... don’t just read it, do the exercises! If you’ve read that book, then find another. To change, you’ve got to do something differently, or something new. It couldn’t be easier, cheaper or any more painless... get exploring!

Listen, I’m no teacher, I’m just sharing my experiences, but no matter what area it is that you want to change in your life... money, love, work, happiness... think about it, dream about what you want, get clear about what you want, and start to move towards it. It is sooooo exciting! And if you’re not sure what it is you want... try something, anything, move towards it. If it doesn’t work out, or it feels wrong, change your mind... like I did!

After considering my actions

throughout the past week, the way in which I have been “thinking” I have come to the conclusion that I AM changing and that I may have moved up a level, shifted paradigm, and made the first of life changing progress... the excitement of that is urging me to learn

                                       much more!

Week 17 - 2 June, 2010

And I think I know why! In the dvd What the Bleep Do We Know scientists apply the basic principles of quantum physics to human psychology and try to explain that reality is only as we define it, that matter is permeable, and that experiences in life should be approached as controllable by the human mind. Opening doors to broad ideas, such as existing simultaneously in many realities, being in multiple places at once, observing ourselves from outside our bodies. But all of these experts encourage positive thinking and open-mindedness.

“What the Bleep Do We Know?” trailer

In his research into spontaneous remissions, Dr. Joe Dispenza has found similarities in people who have experienced so-called miraculous healings, showing that they have actually changed their mind, which then changed their health. He’s amazing... check him out!

In short, he talks about the brain and the way that it’s “wired” and consequently affects the rest of the body. But he suggests it can be “re-wired” simply by repetition of new thought... and because I’m focusing daily on this material... I believe that exactly what I’m doing... “re-wiring” my current thought patterns... shifting my paradigm or changing biologically!

How exciting is that?

In the sequential dvd

Down the Rabbit Hole the

scientists explore even further and

Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about

creating his day” with thought.

His new book “Evolve your Brain:

The Science of Changing your Mind

connects the subjects of thought

and consciousness with the brain,

the mind, and the body. The book

explores “the biology of change.”

That is, when we truly change our

mind, there is a physical evidence

of change in the brain. As an author

of several scientific articles on the

close relationship between the brain

and the body, Dr. Dispenza ties

information together to explain the roles these functions play in physical health and disease. His DVD series “Your Immortal Brain”, looks at the ways in which the human brain can be used to affect reality through the mastery of thought.

Mahatma Gandhi (1869 - 1948)
Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying
to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end
by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I shall have
the belief that I can do it. I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it,
even if I may not have it at the beginning.
The Rainforest Site
An introduction to “What the Bleep”

This week, I’m going to fine tune my vision boards, my powerpoint presentations and bring in a couple of new elements... taking my kids to Lapland for Christmas, making lots more like-minded friends and creating a genuine positive vibration at work... it can be a hostile environment and there have been lots of changes recently... I want to make those changes utterly positive... let’s not forget, the very first objective was to double my income in two years! Now I really believe that I can do that... I’m on a roll!

Next week we look at facing fear.

Note: The strange background noise is a water feature in the

garden... apologies... I thought it would  make a nice change!

Good for you stepping out of your comfort zone to buy your Caddy afterall.

Jack Canfield's homework this month is to step out of our comfort zone and do something for ourselves and you are one step ahead of the game.

Jack Canfield     03 June 2010, 15:13:08

Procrastination is a way of protecting yourself from all the things you’re afraid might happen. The cure to procrastination is ACTION! Think about taking actions that will change your life forever.

Am embarking on the principles of the laws of attraction after visiting your baloani website. It has inspired me to make the changes I want in life and go for my dream life, which is simply a smallholding in the Suffolk countryside with a beautiful farmhouse or cottage. The simple life I guess. I already have a scrapbook of properties and animals I'd like, need guidance with the visualisation part. Been watching your blogs and look forward to your updates, it is very inspiring. Hope you get your dream life too, I believe you will x

Just a quick message to say how much I am enjoying the baloani web page. Really makes you think doesn't it? Love the pictures of your family. The children are a credit to you... Also must say how much I enjoy watching you on Bid TV... so full of energy, and you really cheer me up when I am having a bad day... Long story as to why... Take care, God Bless.
